Can't speak for the others, but I'm rather sure most of your beta testers have to patience to wait for your next update and next steps to see how the game develops.
Since you are not a top moneymakin' gamecreator (yet, at least ^^), that's absolutely understandable. I can only say I don't feel neglected so far.
Good luck for Amanda and her job! For all I can say from her mails she seems to be a trustful and honest person, a great help for your project and thus deserves some luck in RL.

Looks like she scored a part time job at Barnes and Noble.
And she will also be working concerts with me.
This weekend we worked 3 15-hour shifts at a concert in Washington.
We are only now feeling our feet again.
