Just curious, was ClockTower and inspiration for this game?
It really reminded me of ClockTower for SNES.

I saw this game back in 2013 and it was one of the games I took into account for in my research on whether or not I should make a game with bomberman mechanics. Bomberman is awesome.

I disagree with the thought that old school graphics are so games don't have to be good because they rely on nostalgia. For really dense game play areas. The best solution is still well-done pixel art.

The game seems to have crashed on me right after the level where you play 4 characters at the same time. The screen is warm grey, music plays. But besides that, just a blank grey screen. Happened the first time I died on that level. Kept one of the arrow keys held the whole time. Including after I died.
